Chris
Stevenson R.M.N., B.A. (Hons), M.Sc., Ph.D.
is a lecturer in psychiatric nursing practice in the Department of Psychiatry,
University of Newcastle, UK, and is course director for a master's programme in
psychiatric and mental health nursing. Her research interests are in family meetings
in psychiatric settings and in defining what people need psychiatric and mental
health nurses for. She combines her career with a busy family life and horse riding
in the Northumbrian countryside. See chapter
