    3/ Text Overview

    SECTION ONE - SOCIAL RELATIONS

The text assumes that all psychiatric disorder is, esentially, a social construct. This assumption is be alluded to, but not discussed in any formal sense, this having been addressed by many other authors whose work will be used as philosophical anchors. Consideration is given to the role of societal factors in the 'construction', 'interpretation' and 'treatment' of mental illness.
